As a specialty pharmacy, Proprium Pharmacy focuses on medications used to treat complex, serious, and often chronic health conditions such as multiple sclerosis, hepatitis, and cystic fibrosis. These medications are generally high-cost and often require special handling, disposal, and clinical monitoring. Proprium Pharmacy staff members provide personalized care to each patient to ensure they receive what they need, when they need it.
We understand specialty medications can be very expensive. Our goal at Proprium Pharmacy is to remove cost as a barrier to care by helping patients obtain the medications they need, at prices they can afford. Our team of patient care advocates will help determine if you qualify for financial assistance programs from drug companies and non-profit organizations. They will also help you fill out the application and complete the necessary steps to enroll in these programs.
If you have any questions about financial assistance, please contact us at 855-553-3568 and ask to speak with one of our patient care advocates who will be happy to assist you.
Prior Authorization Assistance
In an effort to manage the rising cost of healthcare, insurance companies often require patients meet prior authorization requirements before approving payment for certain medications or procedures. Many specialty medications fall in this category. Proprium Pharmacy patient care advocates understand how to navigate the complexities of this process and will work with your doctor’s office to gather and complete the necessary documentation.
If you have any questions about the prior authorization process, don’t hesitate to contact a Proprium Pharmacy patient care advocate at 757-553-3568 or toll free 855-553-3568 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday.
